Cookie Policy

Draft pending legal review for Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and the United States.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work the same way and this policy covers them too. Some are needed for the site to work; the rest are off until you turn them on.

2. How you choose

The first time you visit us, a banner lets you accept everything, keep only the necessary ones or choose by category: Analytics, Advertising and Chat. Until you accept a category, nothing from it loads: no script is downloaded, no cookie is created and no data is sent. Each category turns on separately.

3. Necessary

Always on, because without them the site cannot work or remember your choice. They are not used to measure or advertise.

  • roisense-consent (ROISense, local storage): stores your choice for each category and its date. Until you change it or delete it.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com): only in the contact form, when the chat is not available; checks that the form is sent by a person. Uses its own storage for the duration of the check.

4. Analytics

Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us which sections get read and which buttons are used. Only if you accept Analytics.

  • _ga (Google, roisense.com): distinguishes visitors with a random identifier. Up to 2 years.
  • _ga_* (Google, roisense.com): keeps the state of the session. Up to 2 years.

5. Advertising

Google Ads, the Meta pixel and the TikTok pixel measure which ads bring visits and let us show our ads again to people who visited us. Only if you accept Advertising. These platforms may also set their own cookies on their domains, under their own policies.

  • _gcl_au and _gcl_* (Google Ads, roisense.com): link your visit to the ad you came from to measure conversions. 90 days.
  • _fbp (Meta, roisense.com): identifies the browser for the Meta pixel. 90 days.
  • _fbc (Meta, roisense.com): stores the click on a Meta ad. 90 days.
  • _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie and ttcsid* (TikTok, roisense.com): identify the browser and the session for the TikTok pixel and measure campaigns. Up to 13 months.

6. Chat (ioZen)

MADE and Talk to us run on ioZen and load inside a window from app.iozen.ai only if you accept Chat. Their cookies live in that window, not on roisense.com.

  • ioZen (app.iozen.ai): keeps the conversation going while you chat. [TO CONFIRM: names and duration of ioZen’s cookies].
  • _clck, _clsk and CLID (Microsoft Clarity, inside the chat): measure how the chat is used. _clsk 1 day; _clck and CLID up to 1 year.

7. How to change your choice

From "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page, as many times as you want. If you withdraw Analytics or Advertising, we delete their cookies on roisense.com and reload the page so that nothing from that category keeps running; if you withdraw Chat, it closes. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings, and manage your ad preferences on Google (adssettings.google.com), Meta and TikTok.

  • If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of Advertising. [TO CONFIRM: pending implementation in the banner.]
  • Withdrawing a category does not delete the data already sent to the platforms; to request that, see Your rights in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a provider or a category, we will update this list and its date, and if the change needs your consent, the banner will ask you again.
